Region Scoopers Dog Waste Removal - Poop Scoop Service

Welcome to our Region Scoopers’ FAQ blog, where we aim to provide answers to the most common questions pet owners have when hiring our pooper scooper service. If you do not wish to hire our company, that’s okay. Keep these questions in mind for the company you choose to work with. Our goal is to help you make an informed decision when choosing a pet waste removal company that fits your needs and budget. Whether you’re a new pet owner or a long-time lover of furry friends, dealing with pet waste is a necessary chore that can be time-consuming and unpleasant. That’s why we’re here to take the hassle out of this task for you, leaving you with a clean and healthy environment for you and your pets to enjoy. Read on to learn more about what we do and how we can help make your life easier.

What services do you offer?

Region Scoopers provides pet waste removal services for residential and commercial clients. We offer regular waste removal visits, typically once a week, to ensure that our clients’ outdoor spaces are clean and sanitary. We also offer every other week, and one-time clean-up services for clients who may have fallen behind in their pet waste removal, or who need a thorough cleaning for spring season or before a special event. We also offer a sanitizing and deodorizing treatment to kill those unwanted odors in the yard.

What is the cost of your service? (Residential)

Price varies from property to property. Such as: how many dogs you have, how big your yard is, how frequently you would like your yard scooped, and if you would like to take advantage of any of our add-on services. Our services start at just $20.

How often do you come and remove the waste?

Whichever is best for you! The most popular option is our weekly service. Especially in the warmer seasons. We also offer bi-weekly (every other week), monthly, and one-time services

What do you do with the waste when you’re done?

We can haul it away for you or we can bag up the waste and place it in your trash can.

What happens if I need to skip a service day?

We understand that things come up such as; you had to scoop the yard yourself, you are out of town, or you forgot to unlock the gate. Just give us a call at 219-213-3221 or email us at info@regionscoopers.com and let us know. We’re always willing to re-schedule.

How do you ensure the safety of my pets?

Safety is one of our top priorities. We do everything we can do ensure the safety of your pups. We will send you a reminder the day before your service, ALWAYS send a text message when we are on our way with an arrival time, take a picture of your locked gate when we are done for our records and we sanitize our equipment after yard to prevent cross contamination. Lastly, our staff has gone through training looking for abnormality in your pets waste. These can be signs that your dog is getting sick and should see a vet for their expert opinion. We will alert you ASAP if we notice any abnormality in the waste.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Nope! That’s what’s great about this service. As long as we have access to enter the yard, you do not need to be home. We will always still be sure to still send you a text when we are on our way so you are aware.

What if I want to cancel service and not use you anymore?

We do not require our clients to sign a contract so you can cancel at anytime hassle-free. Even though we’ll be sad to see you go, we completely understand if you decide to pick-up the waste yourself. Just give us a call at 219-213-3227 or send us an email if you wish to cancel service.

How do you handle inclement weather, such as heavy rain or snow?

As stated in a previous question, safety is one of our top priorities. Not just for you and your dogs but also for our team. If weather conditions are not safe to work in, such as heavy rain or thunder and lightening, we will postpone service to the following day. If we are unable to service your yard the following day we will be back out to service your yard on your next scheduled service date. If we accumulate enough snow that completely covers your yard we will either wait for the snow to melt or reschedule for your next scheduled service date.

How does billing work for recurring services?

We automatically charge the card on file upon completion of each service instead of charging you a monthly fee. No other scooping company does this but we find this to be the best way for our clients because we don’t want to charge anyone if the service was skipped for any reason.

What areas do you service?

We service in the following cities: Crown Point, Dyer, Highland, Winfield, Schererville, Saint John, Cedar Lake, Merrillville, Hobart, Valparaiso, Lake Station, Portage, Hammond, Munster, Griffith, and Lowell, Indiana. We also service in Lansing, Illinois.

Are you insured?

Absolutely. We always work with caution to not cause damage to your property but in the unlikely event of an accident, you will not be responsible for any unplanned costs.

How will I know it’s you when you arrive?

Our technicians arrive to your property with one of our clearly marked trucks and wear the proper uniform with our logo on them.

If there are any other questions you would like to know, please let us know down in the comments. We’ll be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
